Osteopathy is an approach to health care that focusses on the relationship between structure and function in the body. An osteopathic manual practitioner understands that all parts and systems of the body work together as an integrated unit with the primary purpose of regulating and maintaining health. Through this understanding the osteopathic practitioner uses gentle manual (hands-on) techniques to reduce abnormal stress/strain, compression, restriction, and dysfunction in the body’s framework to ensure that your structure is not getting the way of your ability to function, heal, and ultimately live pain-free!

Alyssa Nelson M.OMSc, B.Sc.

Alyssa completed her diploma in Osteopathic Manual Sciences at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Prior to her studies in Osteopathy, she completed her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph.

Alyssa was introduced to Osteopathy at a young age, as her involvement in competitive dance led her to multiple injuries that an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner helped her overcome.

In her spare time, Alyssa loves doing yoga, finding new places to get outdoor for walks with her dog, and spending time with friends and family!

Kiera Porter

Kiera completed her diploma for RMT from Anderson College in London. Kiera chose to become an RMT because she has a passion for helping others feel their best in times of injury or just overall wellbeing.
